Built on a tough substrate and finished with a lubricative PVD coating, this insert resists flank and crater wear, chipping, and thermal cracking—even under high feed, high-depth, or interrupted machining of steel and pre-hardened steel. The square SDXT geometry with “MM” chip breaker ensures good chip control, stability in heavy cuts, and strong edges for durability.
